I’m a big believer in transparency.

Although for my clients privacy and confidentiality are paramount, as a provider, I want my clients to know that I would never offer a service that 1) I don’t believe is safe, effective and worth the cost and 2) I wouldn’t be willing to have it done myself.

Over the last few months, even above the mask at work, I’ve been getting compliments on my skin, and getting asked if I’ve lost weight. My weight is actually pretty stable recently. 😬🤷🏻‍♀️ I have been hydrating well 💦💦 plus, I’m sure I’ve been more excited knowing a was getting ready to launch this new endeavor👩🏻‍⚕️🙌🏻….but that wasn’t all it. I’ve started myself on the 1228 Protocol: an amazing skincare procedure package I offer that includes microneedling with PRF and chemical peels. I also had my first treatment of neurotoxin and a PDO thread lift of my cheeks and jawline.

I wrote down a personal experience log from day 1 of these procedures, included below. In general, I feel refreshed, confident, and though the changes were subtle, they’ve made all the difference to me!

So here’s how it all went….

Day 1:

Refreshing facial with chemical peel using PCA Sensipeel, mild burning sensation with each “pass” easily tolerated with fanning by my awesome trainer, Joni.

Day 2:

Could tell an immediate difference in brightness of my skin and I appeared very hydrated. Love the look and feel of my skin!

Day 3:

PDO threads placed. Short procedure (30-45 min start to finish) 2 injections of lidocaine, like bee stings, then just pressure sensations during placement of threads. No numbing necessary for jawline mini threads, tiny pin pricks, super cool to watch (if you like stuff like that, which I clearly do - but easy to just close your eyes and just relax)

Jawline PDO Thread placement in progress! I also had them placed in my cheeks for more lower face lifting.

Day 4-6:

Minimal bruising, steristrip on each entry point near my temples. Mild tenderness in that area, like a bruise. Instructed to sleep with head elevated for 3 days. No big deal.

Day 7:

Some mild itching to entry points indicating healing. Mild redness to entry points too, no pain.

Day 8:

Redness and itching resolved. Bruising almost gone.

Day 9:

No residual bruising. Noticed my jawline looked a visually more defined when walking by a mirror. 🎉

Day 16:

Began to feel a tightening sensation to cheeks. No real discomfort, just felt “aware” of my cheeks, if that makes sense.

Day 17:

Co-worker saw me without a mask on an outdoor walk and commented on my skin by saying, “wow, you look great! What are you doing differently?” (I loved this, because it’s subtle enough to not be super obvious on what is different)

Day 21:

Noticed a definite lift in cheeks while putting on make-up… things are really shaping up!

Day 28:

WOW. I looked in the mirror and felt a true slimming effect, with my cheekbones looking defined. If I didn’t know what I had done, I may have felt like I had gotten cheek filler.

Day 35:

Saw family for first time in a while, and my mom and sister (who would normally not consider these types of procedures) were both wanting me to get my company open already so I could get to work on them 😎

Day 42:

Full 6 weeks from procedure. Love my cheeks and jawline. Skin looks great, I can’t believe I get to share this with others!
